PAPDI CHAAT (INDIAN NACHOS)

One of my favorite Indian street foods, Papdi Chaat tastes like next level Indian nachos. These are easy to make as a quick snack, but even better as a party crowdpleaser. Serve it with a mango lassi and you're in business. 

  • 1/4 cup Tandoori Ranch DAAL
  • 1 small potato, diced and boiled 
  • 1/3 cup cucumber, finely diced
  • 1/3 cup tomato, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/3 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 10-15 papdi (spiced cracker), or substitute with pita chips 
  • 1/3 cup yogurt, mixed with a tbsp of water
  • mint chutney
  • tamarind chutney
  • 1 tbsp roughly chopped cilantro

 

Layer potatoes, cucumber, tomato and pomegranate on papdi. Drizzle mint chutney, tamarind chutney and yogurt on top. Top with Tandoori Ranch DAAL for a crispy finish!

Serves: 2-3

Make it vegan: Just omit the yogurt
Need more protein?: Add chickpeas for a boost of nutrition
Hosting a party?: Triple the recipe and make a whole platter!
